Our mission is to facilitate the preservation, development, and improvement of the downtown areas of Brownstown and Ewing, Indiana while being mindful of our vision to preserve historic buildings and create appealing green spaces in our downtowns.
Brownstown and Ewing, Indiana is located in Jackson County in the "heart" of southern Indiana. We are located right on U.S. Highway 50 which is "Main Street" in downtown Brownstown.
We invite you to look around our web site and see what we are about. We encourage you to get involved with BEMS by either volunteering to serve on a committee or helping with a project. Becoming a member of BEMS or making a donation for a special project is always appreciated.
Another great idea would be to come and visit Brownstown and Ewing to see what we have to offer.

Our first Brownstown/Ewing ArtsFest was a success and enjoyed by those attending.
The Indiana Historic Pathways Volkswalk was also well attended.
